INTRO- You are the designer of your life! It’s you. It’s in your hands! Do you know how you want your life to look like? What life you would be proud of? What are your life- goals? Your dreams. These are very important questions to put you on the right track in your design of life! After all, you can’t steer a parked car. If you don’t know where to drive you are staying parked and nothing life changing can happen out of that. Month after month and year after year pass by and you still didn’t fulfil your dreams or made the first step towards them. This needs to stop! The design of your life is in your hands! Let’s unpack:

HOW DO YOU WANT YOUR LIFE TO LOOK LIKE?- If your current wealth state and circumstances don’t play a role. If your trauma and upbringing didn’t hold you in a grip?- Where would you be now? How would you feel now? And who would you be now?

What choices of life would you have made?

Is it too late to make them now?

What’s holding you back?

What excuses do you have?

Are they unresolvable?

Remember, you are the designer of your life! Maybe it will take you longer than others or it is way harder, but still you don’t have to settle for the life you have right now!You are allowed to dream and to design your life! So what is it? What do you want from life?

LET’S BREAK DOWN YOUR DREAMLIFE INTO REALISTIC STEPS- WRITE DOWN EVERY OBSTACLE that you see, when thinking of pursuing the way of your dream-life?

-Do you need a degree? Or are there maybe any alternatives? Could you even go back to school/ university?

-Do you need more finances? Did you find the highest paying job in your field? Is there a side hustle that you can build with low investments?

-Do you need more time? Do you need to cut workhours? Do you need to get your time-management in order?

-Do you need a sheltered place with free Wifi? Is there a library in your area? A mall?

-Do you need to get your health in order? Or maybe even your habits? Do you need to eat healthy and work out?

-Do you need a more peaceful environment? Is your home a place where you get physical or mentally harmed? Do you need to move out to gain peace and clarity?

What are your obstacles?- Start to write down the necessary steps that you need to take to overcome those obstacles.

Lastly PLAN YOUR STEPS with a deadline. How will you approach these steps?

This will be your ACTION-GUIDELINE. You can be sure that you will get closer to your Dreamlife with every action you take.

LET’S BREAK DOWN YOUR DAYS FOR THAT GOAL- Designing your life means that you get to choose what’s part of your day. If anyone wants extraordinary results, extraordinary adjustments need to be made. Your days will look different, you will have to establish or adjust your daily routine.

-Do you need to wake up earlier? Will you have to work on your sleep schedule in order for that to work? Are there any other adjustments that you need to make to be able to wake up early?

-Do you need to eat more healthy? Use food as a fuel so that you don’t feel so weak anymore?

-Do you need to change the media that you’re feeding with yourself with? Do you need to exchange it with more instructive podcasts & books?

-Do you need to block time to gain more expertise in your favourite craft? Do you need to show up with discipline?

Do you need to be more consistent and stick to your routines?

PLAN YOUR GENERAL WEEK. Think about when you need to get up, so that you have enough time to develop your craft. Think about all the important things that need to be done every week in order to achieve your goals. Schedule everything with clock time.

Then TRY TO MAINTAIN YOUR SCHEDULE!

PRO TIP- We as humans, circumstances or emergencies can interfere with the schedule. Maybe you even realise, that doing your workout in the morning, wears you out for the whole day. So you prefer to do your workout in the evening, when you know that you’re able to finally rest after that. Or maybe there are different things that are not working.

-It's your schedule. Work with your schedule for yourself. Don’t work for the schedule. Change things that are necessary. It’s very important to find your personal schedule that can work with the way you are built. Anything else will only set you up for failure.

Also be patient with yourself. Changing your days is a process. You are trying to build new habits. That needs time. The only thing important is your commitment. You need to learn to lead yourself.

WHO DO YOU NEED TO BECOME?- Upholding these changes will change you as a person. But without vision you won’t be able to recognise or appreciate any change. That’s why it’s important to ask yourself: Who do you want to be as a person? What do you want to exude? How is the person that achieved these goals?

DEEP DIVE into that topic. You probably won’t find the answers right away. Use that time to get to know yourself better.

-Do you want to become naturally drawn to insightful podcasts? Do you want to enjoy learning?

-Do you want to be a generous and hospitable person? Are you hosting dinner events, thinking of how you can do good to other people?

-Do you want to be a good leader? Are you developing yourself in those skills?

If you incorporate things like reading the journal, giving gifts without occasion, practising your speech, dressing nicely, these things will start to be a natural part of your days. They will be part of your character and normality for you. You won’t have to schedule and think about these things anymore. You have become that person through consistent repetition. Nobody can take that away from you.

HOW TO STAY FOCUSED- Whatever you do, remember: Commitment, repetition and consistency is key.You need to make a clear decision! Do you want your dream life? Are you willing to go every step of your ACTION-GUIDELINE? Do you want to fall in love with the process and the person you’re becoming? If you have made your decision, it’s time to work. If you’re not ready to give up your comfort, don’t start. This journey needs commitment and a strong will. Always give yourself REMINDERS of your goals, to stay focused. For example through media that you nurture yourself with, through the company that you keep, the events or networks that you attend. Visualize your dreams through meditation or realistic physical and digital Vision boards. Maybe even an accountability partner would be the perfect solution for you. We are all individuals and we know what works best for us. In the end, you are the designer of your life and you control your commitment, repetition and consistency. I know it’s a lot! But I can assure you, it will get less and less the more steps you take! What seems now like a far destiny, will be soon standing in front of you! It won’t be easy, but it’s possible. I speak out of experience. I have been there. If I could start from being deeply traumatised and homeless at 24 , I believe that you can do it too. Whatever point you’re starting from. I believe in you! You are the designer of your life! And you will design a nice life!
